Trailer Finance Australia is an Australian-run referral platform for people buying a trailer on finance, from a box trailer or horse float through to semi-trailers, tippers and low loaders. We don't lend money and we aren't a broker. Our job is to get your enquiry in front of a licensed finance broker who regularly works with your type of trailer.
Why Trailers Need a Specialist
Lenders treat trailers very differently. Some won't fund older trailers, private sales or custom builds; others are comfortable with them. Recreational trailers usually go through consumer finance, while business trailers often suit a chattel mortgage or finance lease. A broker who knows which lenders suit which trailer can save you time and avoid unnecessary declined applications on your credit file.
How It Works
1. You send an enquiry. Tell us the trailer type, whether it's for business or personal use, whether it's new or used, and the approximate price. It takes a couple of minutes.
2. We refer you to a broker. We pass your details to a licensed specialist broker. Only the broker contacts you about your enquiry.
3. The broker handles the rest. They assess your situation, explain your options and, if you go ahead, manage the application with the lender. Any credit assistance or advice comes from the broker, who holds the relevant credit licence or authorisation.
What It Costs You
Using this site is free. We may receive a referral fee from the broker if your enquiry proceeds; this doesn't change the price you pay. Your broker must tell you about any fees and commissions that apply before you sign anything.
Your Information
We only share your enquiry with the broker we refer you to, for the purpose of helping with your trailer finance. Sending an enquiry doesn't affect your credit score. A credit check only happens if you choose to apply for finance through the broker. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
